Our New Church

Welcome & thank you for visiting our website.

We hope that it will help keep you upto date with everything that is happening in and around the church.

For those whose who do not know, We were originally called " Living Waters Community Church" and we met at our Park Road building in Douglas for nearly 25 years. In 2009 the church moved into the brand new Elim Family Centre, Second Ave, Onchan. As a result of the move, our name was changed to Onchan Elim Church.

It has been an exciting time since the move, as the church has rapidly grown into a vibrant, mutlicultural, family church.The brand new modern facility, enables us to better serve the communities of both Onchan & Douglas.

The name “Elim” is taken from the book of Exodus in the bible. It was an oasis in the desert where the Israelites refreshed themselves by wells of water, in the shade of Palm trees (Exodus 15:27). We believe the new Elim Family Centre will provide a place of refreshment to all sections of the community, whether old or young, each can enjoy the refreshing Christian message of hope and new life.
